Crosslandia daedali

This animal looks very similar to members of the genus Elysia, mostly because of the ruffles, on the back; however this is actually a true nudbiranch. The specimen was identified by Yolanda Camacho.

We found this guy on top of some Halimeda algae, blending in quite well.

A very similar species is which is found in the western tropical Pacific.
